I just got a case. My client was in a Waymo. The Waymo got rear-ended by a drunk driver. My client got severely injured, but the drunk driver has no insurance.
So, you must understand the consequence of it. If the Waymo is at fault, you have up to $5 million of worth of coverage. If the Waymo is not at fault, which is most of the time, Waymo provides you $25,000 for your medical payments, nothing else. You get no other coverage.
So it is essential, important for you to have uninsured, underinsured coverage for yourself, high coverage, minimum $250,000, if not more, depending on your income.
I'm not an insurance agent, but as an attorney who cares about you, you can contact me at any time and I'll help you out.
