Transcript

My car stops me from opening the door when there is oncoming traffic. These are called dooring accidents. So if a cyclist is driving by and you open your car door and they get injured, you are probably at fault.

Let's talk about it outside.

Most often, when somebody opens the door without watching for the oncoming cyclist, they are at fault. Cyclists have no airbag, no mechanism to protect themselves. They hit the ground, they get severely injured. So before opening the door, be careful.

But also, if you're a cyclist and you get injured by a car, remember, you are not at fault. Contact me. I'll take care of you.
