As a father, I do not want my kids on these scooters driving around. But when you are on these scooters and you get injured, it's usually not your fault. It could either be a cracked sidewalk, a driver that is distracted and is not looking around, or some other obstacles that is on the road. So this is the place that you need to pay attention.
After a crash, if you're on a scooter, look around, find the witnesses, keep the numbers, take pictures of the accident scene, of your injuries, where the location of the scooter is, and how the impact happened. Also, look around if there are any Ring cameras around the neighborhood. We need to get those as soon as possible.
Before speaking to an insurance company, contact your attorney. I hope it's me. And let's talk about it. Do not accept liability or fault. Let somebody who has the experience talk to you first.
