What happened
An onion fell to the floor of a supermarket. An employee walked by, picked it up and put it back on the shelf, but did not clean the floor.
A few minutes later our client, who was shopping, slipped on the juice the onion had left.
What the store argued
The store said it had no knowledge of any dangerous condition. Surveillance footage showed the employee picking up the onion and leaving the floor as it was. That footage established that the store knew about the hazard.
